Dr. Gary Bouck
Dr. Bouck graduated as a veterinarian (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)) from the University of Guelph in 1991. In 1992, he completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Darien Animal Hospital in Connecticut. He returned to Guelph for Residency in Small Animal Surgery from 1992 to1995, and he completed his residency and graduate degree (Doctor of Veterinary Science (DVSc.) in 1995. During his graduate studies, he pursued research in canine elbow conditions, which has led to his primary professional focus on orthopedics. In 1996, he became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS). In addition to attending to his busy practice at the Surgical Referral Service, Dr. Bouck has presented talks to veterinarians in Ontario and at conferences in the United States
Personally, Dr. Bouck enjoys family time with his wife and two daugters. He is an accomplished sea kayaker and also enjoys wilderness camping and snowboarding. His extended family of pets includes his dogs Jyd and Max. |

Claudia Valencia O'Reilly, RVT
Claudia graduated from the Veterinary Technology Program (3 year) at St. Lawrence College Saint-Laurent in 1995 and received her RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician) designation in the same year. She has been working at the Surgical Referral Service since 1996.
During her time away from work she enjoys interior camping, hiking, biking and water sports with her husband and three children. Her extended pet family includes her cats, Winnie and Pooh, and her dog Hal (Halitosis). |

Cindy Cotterill, RVT
Cindy graduated from St. Clair College in 1984 and received her RTV designation in 2001. She has been working at the Surgical Referral Service since 2000.
A busy mother of two busy boys, Cindy particularly enjoys summer baseball games with her family. Her extended pet family includes her cats, Batman and Robin, Lizzy the gecko, and her fish (cichlids and betta).

Kim Sharpe, RVT
Kim graduated from the University of Guelph - Ridgetown College in 2003 and received her RVT designation the same year. She also began working at the Surgical Referral Service in 2003.
When not at work, Kim enjoys travelling and hiking with her dogs, Shiraz, and Rylie. In addition to her dogs, Kim enjoys her two cats, Chivas and Jawz, and two birds, Chuckie and Cheekie. |

Christine Aveiro Cox, RVT
Christine graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a BSc. in Biology in 2002. She graduated from the University of Guelph - Ridgetown College in 2004 and received her RVT designation the same year. She has been with Surgical Referral Service since 2005.
Outside of work, Christine and her husband enjoy traveling and spending time with their dogs Riley and Sully. |
